SCIP: A Single Cell Image Processor toolbox
By Leonardo Martins, Ramakanth Neeli-Venkata, Samuel M.D. Oliveira, Antti Häkkinen, Andre S. Ribeiro and José M. Fonseca

Project Summary

Single-Cell Image Processor (SCIP) is a toolbox for the visualization and analysis of multi-modal, multi-process, time-lapse microscopy morphological and functional images at the single-cell level, based on the segmentation and tracking of cells, automatic alignment of different microscopy channels to detect and characterize cellular structures such as the nucleoid(s), the FtsZ ring, Min system proteins, protein aggregates, inclusion bodies and other fluorescently labelled structures.
SCIP has user-friendly drawing methods to allow the manual optimization of the automatic segmentation results.
